HT-91MC outdoor pan/tilt scanner uses the most robust PC and P5 engineering plastic and are revolutionary materials not replaceable by metals with the properties of: water proof, flame proof, sunlight proof, insulating, not water permeable, non-cracking, and noiseless. The motor uses CHANG AN motor model #4208 which has three times the torque and current of #6007. #4208 has torque of 90-kgf-cm with 1RPM, and may be completely controlled at the 45° angle without sagging. Semi-permanent magnetic induction control:

Magnetic induction control is non-contact and semi-permanent and such products do not require relay and thus has no mechanical noise. Due to the magnetic induction control, it is not affected by the environment and does not have the drawbacks of micro switches, optoelectronic switches, or electronic switches; it is not affected under severe weathers and environments like humidity, snow, and dust and sand. The NdFeB magnet is embedded along with dowels and the magnetic property lasts longer than conventional magnets.

CHANG AN scanners utilize magnetic induction control function to replace conventional micro switches that control the direction switching, and the scanner may operate 24 hours each day throughout the year. Micro switches switch by contact and break down easily, and thus the lifespan is short; magnetic induction control has no contact points and thus the chances of breaking down are low, and may operate in all types of weather and environment; since it is a semi-permanent product, future maintenance costs are reduced.

CHANG AN scanners are designed with patented structures and durability designs from the motors to transmission structures. The main body comprises two sets of needle roller bearings, ball bearings, and counterweight sleeves control structure, and up to 90% of wear may be reduced and lifespan may be extended. The main body structure is integrally formed by plastic injection embedded with copper and tapping, and prevents dislocation, wear, and deformation.
